The Health + Community Care Workforce Sector Council has undergone a natural transition in recent years, driven by operational growth, sector demands, and shifting financial landscapes. With the Nova Scotia budget for 2026-27 signaling the end of our current funding model, we are focusing on long-term sustainability. To continue providing excellent services to the health and community care sector, we are proactively exploring diverse revenue-generation strategies to secure our future.
Regardless of the funding landscape, the Council remains unwavering in its commitment to delivering high-quality services. Our paramount priority is to ensure the health and community care sector is supported with the highest standard of excellence. To that end, we have progressively expanded our training portfolio, introduced flexible online learning pathways, optimized our event delivery, and launched a modernized web platform. How much does it cost?
Membership is currently completely FREE! Those in Long-Term Care and Home Support will receive additional discounts for sector services, but a minimum discount of 10% is being offered on Council services for anyone with a membership regardless of the industry you are a part of.
How do I sign up?!
Simply fill out the form at the bottom of this page and the Council will review your application. Once the Council confirms which sector you are a part of, you will be sent an email with details of how to use your new membership benefits!
