The Working Mind (TWM) – Manager Program

Important: This course takes place over two sessions. The first session is February 27th, the second session is March 6th. Both sessions are mandatory to attend to complete the program. You will automatically receive an invitation to both sessions when you register for this event.

Important: Before completing your registration for this course, please ensure you have obtained approval from your immediate supervisor. By proceeding with the registration, you confirm that you have secured the necessary authorization.

The Working Mind (TWM) training is an evidence-based mental health program administered by Opening Minds, a subsidiary of the Mental Health Commission of Canada. You can view the Opening Minds website here.

The overall goal of the training is to help decrease stigma, build resiliency and encourage healthy conversations about mental well-being in Canadian workplaces. We offer both the Employee and the Manager/People Leader versions of the program. Manager – two, 4 hour sessions; Employees – 5.5 hour program delivered in one day. This instructor-led virtual learning is currently available at no charge to employees of the NS Continuing Care Sector (long-term care, residential care facilities and home supports).
