DESCRIPTION:Important: Before completing your registration for this course\, please ensure you have obtained approval from your immediate supervisor. By proceeding with the registration\, you confirm that you have secured the necessary authorization. \nThe Working Mind (TWM) training is an evidence-based mental health program administered by Opening Minds\, a subsidiary of the Mental Health Commission of Canada. You can view the Opening Minds website here. \nThe overall goal of the training is to help decrease stigma\, build resiliency and encourage healthy conversations about mental well-being in Canadian workplaces. We offer both the Employee and the Manager/People Leader versions of the program. Manager – two\, 4 hour sessions; Employees – 5.5 hour program delivered in one day. This instructor-led virtual learning is currently available at no charge to employees of the NS Continuing Care Sector (long-term care\, residential care facilities and home supports). \nTo learn more please contact our Program Coordinator Debbie Stewart at debbie@hcsc.ca. \n  \n* Please note that each organization may sign-up a maximum of 4 employees per program
